I have three grandbabies... Yeah, to me they'll always be my babies... The oldest is a girl, now 8, next is a boy, 5, and last, a boy, age 2. They both still view the 2 year old as a baby and mostly treat him that way. But the two oldest quickly became rivals... you know how it is when you all of a sudden have to SHARE.... your own toys!!! I guess birth order and how many years apart you are actually do play a part in how you interpret things...
Anyway, my screen saver is a scroll of pictures....almost all of them are of the kids.... One day when they were over, and this picture rolled around... the oldest said to her brother -- LOOK!! I TOLD you I loved you when you were a baby...... (inference: I hate you now, but I USED to love you like I said.... now you have proof!!)
hehe.... nothing better than kids.... I'm Just Sayin... :-P

Ohh thankyou.... yes, of COURSE I KNOW she's beautiful!! And, yes she does love him.... and secretly would stake her life (going both ways)...but she'd (they'd) never admit it.... then again, isn't that EXACTLY what sibling rivalry is all about!! Wish I had sibs.. thanks Chica!!
Thank goodness for grandchildren. They remind us that there are still those out there with no fear to tell the truth, no matter how brutal or ugly.
So very true... so many times I've been amused, charmed, delighted, and even appalled... but they are truly refreshing.
That's cute that she's tenderly holding him. However, he seems to be blocking her away as if to say: Mom, she's touching me again! Make her stop! :D
LOL.... yeah, maybe he knew then already that being the middle one would NOT be fun... your guess is as good as mine...
I love it when someone sees a person's baby picture and they exclaim, "Hey, you were cute as a baby!". Always makes me laugh, with the unspoken, "What the hell happened?"
Yeah....people can be so transparent sometimes..without even intending to be....
